It's coming!

My website that is... I am building my website in between working on orders and buying a house!

That's right! My husband and I are supposed to close on our first home this Friday. Never fear - even though I am VERY excited about this development, there should not be too much disruption in MediaDia services. MediaDia will have a swanky new office, though! (I'll share photos once it's done!

So back to the website... the MediaDia website with all of the services, pricing, and samples will be up soon! Hooray! I am busy creating a bunch of fun new samples for products you haven't seen yet... I can't wait to share them!

Wow... I just realized that these 2 endeavors are eating up most of my time these days... What will I do with my time after we have moved and the website is done? Guess you guys are going to have to find ways to keep me busy! :-)

Another service I provide: Logo Re-Creation / Restoration

It happens to all of us... we lose the file, the CD, or the original copy of something. It's a pain, but we deal and try to recreate what we've lost. It's a BIG pain though when it's a logo, especially if you don't have the graphic design programs to recreate or restore what was lost.

I don't know the back story, but a company came to me with a lost logo problem - they only had a scan of an envelope with the logo on it. So, they sent it to me and I recreated it for them!

So, the design below is NOT MINE (I don't know who the original designer was to give them credit), but the restoration work on it was done by me!

Cowtown Camera Girl's Logo

Nell is another fantastic photographer in the DFW area that commissioned me to design her logo! I am so pleased to be able to help her out!

Michaela's Collection

Michaela and Jeff are a good example of how the monogram design process works - I make several different options for you (there are actually 2 more that they are not going to use!) and then you can pick and choose what you like in order to create the perfect collection for your day! You don't have to use just one! :-)

I take photographs as well!

This is a side of my creativity that I'm just really starting to explore. I've always been a photo hound and have mainly focused on art shots of flowers and architecture in the past. I'm slowly working into human subjects! The following are of my beautiful second cousin, Lanie, who will turn 1 on June 18! This was her first ever time in the pool - I think she likes it!

"Mrs." Hoodie

On the day of my wedding, I wore a "Mrs." Hoodie that I designed. Here's my process - I bought a simple plain white hoodie at Old Navy, designed the back, and sent it over to Kim w/ Stitches & Such to have the design embroidered in the back. The result was a cute, hair friendly, comfy outfit for the wedding day!

Something Blue!

For the something blue at my wedding, I had an embroidered tag made for my wedding dress - it had my maiden name monogram and my wedding date. Kim w/ Stitches & Such made the actual tag for me and I had the seamstress that put in my bustle loosely sew it into the hem.

Photogenic Images Logo

Dori and Jason at Photogenic Images were my wedding photographers (the photo to the right of me & my husband was taken by Ms. Dori herself!). When the time came to come up with a fresh look to their logo and their company, they came to me! After several months (we were delayed a bit by various outside circumstances... *ahem* Dori & Jason getting married, etc...) and many different designs, I think I have finally come up with one that suits this newly married, photographin' couple!

Invitation Map

This wedding has come and gone, so I can now post the map! For privacy reasons, if I make a map for a bride to include in invitations or in the program, I do not make it part of the portfolio until after the ceremony is over. This is a very simply map, but it's what the bride wanted - and that's what's most important! If you click on it, you'll be able to see more of the details.
