"Sprinkle" Invitation!

Long time, no post! Things are super busy at the day job (teaching... end of the year and all...), but things are still hoppin' at MediaDia.

I finished a "Sprinkle" invitation today for one of my clients - a sprinkle meaning not quite a shower, since this is baby #2 for the Mama.

Since the party hasn't happened yet, all the details have been changed to protect the party-goers, but I just had to share this super cute-ness!

More stuff is on the way soon - I have at least 3 orders in the works right now!

What the Heck is a "MediaDia"?

MediaDia is me. Literally. The name comes from my little sister.

When she was first learning to walk and talk, she'd streak the house in nothing but a diaper yelling for me. Back then, she had a bit of speech impediment and my name sounded like "Dia! Dia!" (Dee-uh, Dee-uh). The nickname stuck, and my family still calls me 'Dia' to this day.

So, back in high school, when I was first picking out a domain name for myself, I was trying to pick a name that would last me and my pursuits. So, in a clever moment, I realized that my multimedia self fit right into a great name... Me = Dia Dia or perhaps MediaDia. :-)

My sister is going to hate me for posting this story, but it's too cute not to share!
